Teens

Welcome to the T.E.C. Crew! (Teens Exemplifying Christ)
Teenagers are an important part of this Church ministry. At Calvary we provide many opportunities for learning, participating, and socializing. Whether it is through Sunday Morning Bible School, Wednesday Evening Bible Study, or social events, the teens are taught and counseled from the Word of God and encouraged in their Christian walk.

The Lord called us to Calvary Baptist Church in June of 2002.  Prior to coming to CT, I worked in Christian education for 8 years.

How God lead us here is still as exciting to us today as it was when Pastor Scott first came to visit us.  It just goes to show the importance of being sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

My life verse is Psalm 84:11b, "...no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly." As I strive to walk with the Lord, He has shown Himself faithful.

 

The T.E.C. Crew meets:

• Wednesday Nights from 6:30 - 8:00 (September – May)
• Wednesday Nights from 7:00 - 8:00 (June – August)
• Sunday Mornings from 9:30 - 10:40
• Special events at various times during the month

Events:

• Camps & Retreats - We have up to 3 major trips a year.
• In the winter months we have our ski retreat.  We bring in a special speaker for the 3 days so the young people are challenged spiritually
• For our summer camp, we attend various different Christian camps or teen conferences.
• We also strive to take a mission's trip every other year. This is a great opportunity for our teens to experience missions work in a foreign field.

Activities:
Throughout the year, we have many activities that allow our young people to get together, have fun, and reach out to their friends that they might have an opportunity to hear a Gospel message (Check out the church calendar for upcoming events).
